James Edward Ryba Jr., age 55, resident of Baudette, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in New Milford, PA.
James was born July 14, 1964 in Michigan, ND, the son of James and JoAnn (Kotaska) Ryba. He attended school in Whitman and Michigan, graduating with the class of 1982. He then attended the State School of Science at Wahpeton, graduating in 1984 with a degree in auto body repair. In 1987 Jim began working for Marvin Windows in Warroad, where he worked for 10 years. Jim then worked various construction jobs in the oil industry throughout the United States, until becoming a safety officer for New Tech Global in Pennsylvania.
Jim will be missed by his mother, JoAnn Ryba of Lakota, ND; 4 siblings, Kathy (Larry) Brunell of North Attleboro, MA, Joe (Darlene) Ryba of rural Lankin, ND, Karen (Keith Henningsgard) Ryba of Ardoch, ND, and Pam Ryba of Lakota, ND; 3 nephews, Matthew (Meghan) Brunell, Joseph Allan (Trista) Ryba Jr., and Dan (Briana) Ryba; 2 nieces, Stacy (Matt) Yarnall and Megan (Kyle) Hammond; his special friend, Deborah Smith of New York; and his best friend, Dustin Lipe of Kentwood, LA.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Ryba Sr. and his dog, Sheena.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Lakota Lutheran Church, Lakota, ND, on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private at the WFL Kosobud Cemetery, rural Lankin, ND. Visitation will be held at the Aaker Funeral Home of Lakota on Friday, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the WFL Kosobud Cemetery, rural Lankin, ND.
