Roger Aamodt Obituary
On Sunday July 29, 2018 Roger G. Aamodt of Lakota, ND, departed for the Big Truck Stop, at the age of 64.
Roger was born January 25, 1954 in Michigan, ND, the son of Edwin and Dolores (Korstad) Aamodt. He was raised and educated in Lakota, graduating from Lakota High School in 1973. He farmed in the Lakota area and also was an over the road truck driver. Roger was a father, brother, grandfather, and friend. A giant of a man with a heart larger than life, always worried about others before himself. He will be greatly missed but always remembered!
He is survived by 2 sons, Jason & his wife, Amy of Fargo, ND and Justin & his wife, Jasmine of Wyndmere, ND; 5 grandchildren, Aiden, Oneal, Jackson, Carter, and Royce; 1 brother, Brian Swanson of Yakima, WA; and 1 sister, Tammy Swanson of Gilby, ND.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Aaker Funeral Home of Lakota, ND, on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
